Mixed reports: several guests praised clean rooms and public areas, but multiple reviews note black mold, wallpaper/ceiling damage, stale/nursing-home smells and at least one unmade room — overall below average cleanliness.
Consistently positive staff mentions: many guests singled out friendly, helpful employees (night staff, breakfast attendants, 'Josh', 'Karen'), staff solved issues promptly — strong service sentiment.
Frequently praised as convenient (several mentions of proximity to Notre Dame and desired sites); location is a clear strength.
Mixed: some guests found rooms comfortable and roomy, while others reported worn beds, TV/remote problems, outlet/power issues and strong odors — overall slightly below average.
Amenities noted include a small pool and spa; functional but limited (pool described as small, some in-room/AC and fan issues), generally acceptable for the hotel tier.
Several guests felt price was a bit high given condition and inconsistent breakfast/service; others felt value was reasonable — modestly below the target rating.
Breakfast sentiment is mixed-to-negative: repeated complaints about limited/poor options and inconsistent hot food, though some praise for omelette station and good coffee on certain days.
Overall impressions skew positive due to helpful staff, good location and comfortable stays for many guests, despite cleanliness and breakfast inconsistencies.
