Rooms described as spacious and clean in multiple reviews, though one guest reported possible sheet issues on check-in; overall cleanliness is generally positive.
Multiple staff called out by name for thoughtful, attentive service (Brelan, Erica, Jill, Tara, Ms. Penny) and staff went beyond to make stays special.
Repeatedly noted as the right location: walking distance to main town and convenient for train arrivals/departures.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed for many guests, but some report very uncomfortable beds, poor A/C performance and awkward junior-suite layouts or low-level handicap rooms.
Historic property and on-site dining praised, but issues flagged with parking setup/charges, limited accessible electrical outlets, missing property map for pool/coffee areas and towels perceived as not plush.
Several guests felt the hotel is pricey and cited heavy self-parking fees (some alleging inflated charges); positive service and food help offset but value is a concern.
Restaurant repeatedly described as great with fantastic food and friendly servers; multiple positive dining experiences reported.
Overall sentiment is very positive—historic charm, attentive staff and strong dining—tempered by specific issues (parking, some room problems) but the guest experience is generally excellent.
