Mostly positive but a notable cleanliness lapse reported (child's footprints on sheets) which lowered the score compared to other categories.

Repeated praise for extremely friendly, helpful staff and bellmen (named staff praised); occasional front-desk low energy noted but overall service is exceptional.

Consistently highlighted as an excellent location — central, close to Broadway yet quiet — described as 'perfect' or 'great' by many reviewers.

Rooms described as luxurious with very comfortable beds and soft towels; generally high marks for room comfort and character despite isolated issues (coffee maker, cleanliness incident).

Amenities generally appreciated (morning coffee, charm/character); a few issues mentioned (requested coffee maker not working, nearby construction noise) but overall strong.

Mixed but favorable: several guests feel the luxury is worth the price ('you get what you pay for'), while a few questioned value for certain offerings.

Morning coffee and restaurant praised by some, though one reviewer found the restaurant choices limited and not great value; overall positive with minor criticisms.

Majority of reviews describe an outstanding overall stay (favorite hotel, anniversary trips, highly recommend) with only a small number of negative incidents.
