Wyndham DFW Airport sits in Irving, TX, placing guests inside a defined metro market with its own dining clusters, transit spine, and visitor corridors. As a hotel, Wyndham DFW Airport is typically chosen for access to both the immediate blocks around the building and the wider Irving activity zones travelers care about. Straight-line distances to nearby reference points are listed in the FAQ below and are computed from coordinates returned by the geocoder; real routing, traffic, and terminal time will differ—treat them as orientation, not ETA guarantees. Neighborhood character shifts by block: central business districts skew toward meetings and dining strips, resort corridors skew toward leisure venues, and airport-adjacent pockets skew toward quick turnarounds. When planning days in Irving, pair the map above with your maps app so you can compare walking, transit, and rideshare options block by block.
Consistently praised across reviews: multiple guests note 'clean', 'the room was clean', 'smelled good' and 'clean and comfortable'.
Mostly positive (friendly staff, courteous shuttle driver, helpful front desk) but marred by a few reports of rude receptionists and an unauthorized card hold, so service is good but inconsistent.
Frequently mentioned as convenient/close to the airport and shopping; praised for easy access and shuttle service.
Rooms described as comfortable with good beds, excellent showers, pleasant scent and attractive interiors; several guests called the rooms large and well-equipped.
Multiple positive mentions: indoor/outdoor pools, whirlpool/sauna, free laundry, coffee maker and 24-hour airport shuttle; overall strong amenity offering.
Good value noted by guests ('price hard to beat', 'great room for the price') though some amenities/food issues slightly temper this.
Mixed feedback: several guests enjoyed the hot breakfast and selection, but at least one detailed complaint about chaotic breakfast service and limited choices, lowering this category.
Generally very positive overall (headlines: 'Excellent', 'Will stay again', 'Fabulous') with occasional negatives (cancellation, noisy floor, staff incidents) resulting in a strong overall experience.
